Album of the Week - 'If You're Feeling Sinister'

This week, Delphine, one of our International Account Managers , shares her favourite album of the week - 'If You're Feeling Sinister' by Belle and Sebastian.

"I discovered Belle and Sebastian during my first year at uni and it never left me since. This is one of my favourite album of all, the one you always come back to, listen to over and over again without ever getting tired of it! It is connected to very strong and special memories. “The Fox in The Snow” is my favourite song, a fragile one, not exactly cheerful, with a beautiful piano bit at the beginning followed by the acoustic guitar.I like the softness of the voice, the beautiful orchestration and all those strings instruments backing the singer’s particular and suave voice."

Formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1994, 7 member strong rock band Belle and Sebastian have released a whopping 10 studio albums.

 

About the album

Belle and Sebastian's second album 'If You're Feeling Sinister' is full of catchy melodies and intricate storytelling. With a mix of influences including Brit Folk, French Pop and Indie, this album is truly unique and a great listen.
