In his review, Thomas Kirsche from Like HiFi praised the Monitor Audio Studio 89 speakers as a "Golden Comeback," celebrating their connection to the iconic Studio 15s from 1989. He highlighted that while the Studio 89 captures the essence of the original, it’s "not a simple reissue" but a modern upgrade. The inclusion of the advanced MTM driver array and RDT III C-CAM drivers offers enhanced sound performance, delivering "super-light and extremely stable membranes" that provide a highly controlled and precise audio experience.
Kirsche was particularly impressed by the Studio 89’s ability to reproduce sound with extreme clarity and detail.
