What is the correct setup for a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system?

Silver Series 8G Support

    For a 5.1 system, position the surround speakers at location A. For a 7.1 system, position the side speakers at B and the rear speakers at C, following the angle guidance in the manual (pages 8–9). Run your AV receiver's automatic calibration once speakers are installed.
