Studio 20 – 1991

The Monitor Audio Studio 20, released in 1991, was a highly regarded loudspeaker that set new standards for British high-fidelity audio. Designed as part of Monitor Audio's premium Studio Series, it was built to deliver precise, detailed, and dynamic sound reproduction.

The Studio 20 combined a 6.5-inch metal-cone woofer with a 1-inch metal-dome tweeter, both proprietary Monitor Audio drivers. The cabinet was exceptionally well-braced and internally damped, reducing unwanted resonances. The Studio 20s could handle significant power levels while maintaining clarity, making it suitable for both solid-state and tube amplifiers.
