Can I run the subwoofer without an amplifier from another brand, or must I use the matched IA500-S/IA750-2?

Creator Series Support

    Each subwoofer is engineered and DSP-tuned specifically to work with its matched amplifier, so we recommend using the IA500-S or IA750-2 as specified to guarantee the performance figures quoted for the range. Using a third-party amplifier isn't officially supported.
