In this review, Trevor Butler describes the Studio 89 as delivering a “gorgeous stereo soundstage with both openness and precision” that is “hardly expected at this price-point.” He highlighted that these speakers offer a sound that is "well balanced and seemingly trying to faithfully reproduce what was on the recording."
