We’re proud to announce that Monitor Audio is an official sponsor of the Cine International Film Festival (CIFF) - London’s boldest new celebration of independent cinema. Taking place from 7th to 10th May 2025, this four-day festival will unfold in the heart of Soho at the Karma Sanctum Hotel, where Monitor Audio's high-performance speaker systems are seamlessly integrated throughout.
The CIFF will be brought to life through our Cinergy THX® Certified Ultra speaker system, creating an immersive cinematic experience that captures every nuance of the onscreen drama. Our speakers are situated throughout other areas of the hotel, so whether you're in the cinema room or relaxing in the hotel’s bar or restaurant, you’ll be immersed in the high-fidelity Monitor Audio sound.
"To be able to sponsor the Cine Film Festival, creative filmmakers and visionaries to deliver their vision, at every screening – at its sonic best – is something we’re very proud of," said Michael Johnson, Commercial Head, UK & Global Marketing Director, Monitor Audio Group. "To deepen the emotional relationship and connection with the content on screen, through the power of our high-fidelity Cinergy speaker system and amplification is extremely gratifying."
CIFF isn’t just another film festival - it’s a platform dedicated to pushing creative boundaries, supporting new voices, and celebrating the best of British and international cinema. Curated in collaboration with DREAMTOWN Entertainment, Karma Sanctum Soho, and Goldfinch (the Academy Award and BAFTA-winning production house), the festival showcases a dynamic programme of exclusive premieres, feature films, thought-provoking documentaries, and captivating shorts.
The festival opens with the world premiere of Savage Flowers, a gripping psychological thriller starring Roxanne McKee and Nick Moran. Other major highlights include the premiere of the John Lennon biopic Borrowed Time, the inspiring coming-of-age tale Los Frikis, and London: The Modern Babylon, followed by a live Q&A with director Julien Temple.
CIFF will also host a variety of panel talks offering insights into the future of film, AI, financing, distribution, and exclusive ‘in conversation’ Q&As with actors and directors. One of the panels will be hosted by the award-winning and leading female film podcast duo, Girls on Film, bringing their signature blend of expert analysis and engaging discussion to the festival.
