Monitor Audio Celebrates Red Dot Success on the World Stage in Essen

This week, Monitor Audio's Charles Minett, Product Design Director, and Senior Product Designer Rianna Foster travelled to Essen, Germany, to formally accept the Red Dot Award on behalf of the Climate Series 3G CL2 M, joining an international community of designers and brands recognised for outstanding product design in 2026.

It was a proud moment for the team: recognition for the CL2 M's design is recognition for the thinking behind it, the product's ability to deliver genuine hi-fi performance from a discreet, outdoor-ready form, without compromising on the engineering and craftsmanship Monitor Audio is known for.

The day offered Charles and Rianna the chance to explore the wider Red Dot Design Museum. The museum's exhibitions brought together this year's full cohort of winning products, giving the pair a rare opportunity to see the CL2 M sitting alongside outstanding design work from across categories and industries.

The Red Dot Award is one of the most respected accolades in product design, and this recognition for the Climate Series 3G CL2 M is testament to the work of the wider Monitor Audio design and engineering teams. Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing the CL2 M to life.
