Thorogood Audio Visual helped bring the latest technology together for a hi-fidelity home cinema
After an entire false wall was built in this Potter Bar home, Thorogood Audio Visual went to work installing all of the latest technology including a Dolby Atmos surround system with Monitor Audio speakers.
Alongside the 4K TV, Xbox One X and smart lighting solution, Monitor Audio speakers were used to pull the whole experience together.
Our Controlled Performance Full Size In-Wall CP-IW260X were used as left, centre and right channels, C380-FX In-Ceiling speakers were used as the rear surround channels and our CP-CT380IDC were used for Dolby Atmos speakers.
Atmos at Home
Dolby Atmos is a surround sound technology that expands upon traditional 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound set ups developed by Dolby Laboratories for use in cinemas and the home. It uses additional speakers placed in-ceilings of a home cinema creating a wholly immersive surround sound experience. Any of our Custom Install In-Ceiling speakers (except the T2 and FX models) can be used for Atmos, the better options being those with the IDC module in them.
