American singer-songwriter Jack White brings his evolving style, but same blistering energy on his fourth solo album. Although brief, Fear of the Dawn is a fascinating listen, as White pushes the boundaries, without losing sight of his signature sound.

Further Joy

The Regrettes | Warner

LA punk rockers The Regrettes return for their imaginative and heartfelt third studio album. Further Joy is a positive step into the band’s next era, and whilst touching on subjects such as anxiety and mental health, their message is clear, as they look to better things.

You Belong There

Daniel Rossen | Warp

On his debut solo album, multi-instrumentalist Daniel Rossen brings his familiar sound on You Belong There. After the lengthy hiatus with Grizzly Bear, Rossen performs almost all of the parts on the album himself, with his acoustic guitar strings and jazz numbers flourishing.

Broken Hearts Club

On her second studio album, progressive soul singer-songwriter Syd pours her heart out. The story follows her own relationship with both touching and dark moments throughout, Broken Hearts Club displays Syd's vulnerable state, but elevates her to new heights, as her angelic voice mixes beautifully with a wonderfully sequenced album.
